All students are eligible to apply for free or reduced price meals. A family application is distributed to all students during the first day of school. The application needs to be filled out in its entirety and returned to your child’s school cafeteria manager. ALL sections on the application must be completed to prevent delays in the approval process for your child. Please complete only 1 application per family and send back to your youngest child’s school. Students who attended Hoover City Schools last year and were on the free/reduced meal program MUST complete a new application for eligibility of extended benefits. If you do not reapply, all meal prices will automatically change to full price. New students applying for free or reduced meal benefits are responsible for paying regular breakfast/lunch prices until benefits are issued.
